Michael Eugene Songer

Michael Eugene Songer, born August 13, 1958, in Redding, California, passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of his wife, Nancy and his sister, Brenda.

Mike was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend whose presence brought strength, laughter, and love to the people around him.

Mike had a deep love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of being outside and making memories doing the things he loved. He was also known for his incredible talent at the barbecue. There wasn’t much he couldn’t make taste amazing, and when it came to spicy food, Mike could handle the heat like no one else. You could give him something as hot and spicy as you dared, and chances were, it still wouldn’t be too spicy for him.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nancy; his sons, Tanner and Wade; his daughter, Jessica; and his sister, Brenda, along with many other family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched.

Mike leaves behind a lifetime of memories, stories, laughter, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00pm in the North Woods Tavern, 461 Deep Creek Loop Naples, Idaho 83847.
