Gail Loretta Olson (1938-2024), 85, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024 at Boundary Community Hospital with her family at her side. Gail was born on October 29, 1938 in Priest River, Idaho the daughter of Edward and Pheobe Gognon Olson.
She is survived by her daughters Sandy Akerlund (Goding), Jeanie Stackhouse (Goding) and Kim Jelinek (Goding), along with grandchildren and great grandchildren and sisters Doreen Doyle and Jayne Watts. Preceded by death, her grandfather Wilfred Gognon, grandmother Katherine Butts, father Edward Olson, mother Pheobe Gognon, sister Edna Olson and grandson Dustin Dodge (Goding). She loved to paint, garden, quilt, being around family, horses and her faith.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at McArthur Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
