Kenneth William Dunnington

Kenneth William Dunnington (53) passed away on September 9, 2009 at the Boundary Community Hospital ER in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. A celebration of Life will be held at the home of his father, James B. Dunnington, on September 19th at 1:00pm. Ken was born July 20, 1956 in San Jose, CA to James and Peggy Dunnington. The sunshines down caressing his face with its warm touch. A bird sings his song to his mate, and a chipmunk chatters his disapproval high above. The wind blows bringing sweet laughter to his ears. Below him, the valley glows in the morning sun. A warm firm hand slides into his and his mother whispers in his ear, “your home!” September 9, 2009 our family lost Kenneth. He lost his courageous battle with cancer. He enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with his family, the enjoyment of reeling in a fish, hunting in the morning light, and laughing around a campfire. He was a pillar of peace, a rock to lean on, and a shoulder to cry on. Ken was a wonderful son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. And with every heart he has touched he will forever live in each and every one of us. His smiling face will be greatly missed by all. We don’t believe it is goodbye, but until we meet again. We love you Kenny (Unc). Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy, and survived by his father James B. Dunnington, brother Jim & his wife Chery, sister Keli and husband Brian Means, son Josh, daughters Sara Reed and husband Ryan, and Carly. Also nieces and nephews, Jason Dunnington, Relaina & Jason Norley, Tony & Amber Dunnington, and Teal Means and their families. Ken also has a grandchild, Gage and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
