Cynthia Lee Lock passed away Thursday, August 20th 2009 at home in Spokane, Washington. Services will be held at the Good Samaritan Community Center at 17121 E 8th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA at 2:00pm on Friday, August 28, 2009. There will be a pot luck lunch and memorial held at the United Methodist Church, 6568 Lincoln Street, Bonners Ferry, Idaho on Saturday, August 29th at 1:00pm. She was born Cynthia Lee Smith November 26th, 1931 in Ione Washington, to Charlie (Tot) and Vonnie Smith. Raised in the Smith Creek, Port Hill area of northern Idaho, she was in the 1950 class of Bonners Ferry High School. She married Dee Lock of Naples Idaho in 1948. Dee and Cynthia followed road construction in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Hawaii, and eventually settled in Spokane, Washington. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Dee, of Spokane, and her four children; Gary of Spokane, Shari Adams Fitch of Kennewick, Pat and Bill of Sandpoint.
