Raymond L. Petersen (Pop) May 24, 1919 - August 15, 2009
Pop passed away at his home early Saturday morning. Pop retired from the United States Marines in 1963, after 25 five years of service. During his time in the CORPS he was at Pearl Harbor the day Japan Attached the Island, he served throughout the South Pacific during WWII and continued his service on into the Koren War. He retired as an E-9 just as his second oldest son was entering the CORPS at the start of the Viet Nam conflict. Pop is survived by his four children, Kraig , Jerre, Malinda and Jim, 12 grand children , 1 great grand child and 1 great great grand child. During his retierment he loved going fishing and coaching Little league and Pony liegue baseball. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
