Faye Ellen Saunders

Faye Ellen (Hull) Saunders (89) passed away on August 20, 2013 at Life Care of Sandpoint, Sandpoint, Idaho. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Free Methodist Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho with interment following in the Grandview Cemetery. Faye was born on March 20, 1924 in Ukiah, California to /Elmer Edward and Lillie May (Jewell) Hull in aunts home. She received her education there in Ukiah. Faye met Charles Edward Saunders, Jr. on March 20, 1942 at a USO dance in Ukiah. They married on April 8, 1942 just before he shipped out. Their children were Charles William born, December 4, 1942; Eugene Edward born November 21, 1946; Linda Kay Saunders Grove born October 3, 1954; Cheryl Evon born December 3, 1959; and Tim Saunders born December 21, 1960. In 1966 she moved with her family to Bonners Ferry, Idaho. She loved to sew, crochet and play bingo. Faye was an active member of the Grange, Eagles Aux, and American Legion Aux. She is survived by her sons; Charles and Tim; daughters Linda and Cheryl, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, Parents, seven siblings, son Eugene, and grandsons Chris and Larry Don. She will be missed by all who knew her.
